Brief manual for the Star Model E quadder. (Linotype Parts Company later took on the name of its product identity, "Star Parts," to become Star Parts Company.) A Quadder is an attachment for a Linotype or Intertype linecasting machine which automatically performs left and right justification and centering (tasks accomplished in hand-set type with "quads.") No date, but published after 1949 (the introduction of the first Star quadder) but probably before 1963 (the introduction of ZIP codes).
