This is the installation, operation, and maintenance manual for the temperature controls and heaters of the Linotype "Comet Type" Electric Pot Type C-4 and "Universal Comet Type" Electric Pot Type G, equipped with Micro-Therm Temperature Controls and Lino-Therm heaters. This is the third edition. Printing code: 720.13.2-J-Nn-2X. The Comet Type electric pot was introduced in 1950 for the Linotype Comet model. The Universal Comet Type electric pot was introduced in 1959 and became standard on all Linotype models. This manual does not cover electric pots equipped with Linotronic Controls.
